A TÜBİTAK 1001 project titled 'Investigation of the Effects of a Streamlined Container Design on the Melting-Solidification Process of Phase Change Materials and Cabin Shape Deformation' has been approved for funding. The project is led by Prof. Dr. Hakan Fehmi ÖZTOP, a faculty member in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Technology, Fırat University.

The research team includes Prof. Dr. Mete Onur KAMAN from the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Burak KIYAK (Research Assistant), and Dr. Muhammed GÜR (Research Assistant) from the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Technology, Fırat University.

This project aims to explore the influence of streamlined container designs on the melting and solidification processes of phase change materials (PCMs) and the deformation of cabin shapes, contributing valuable insights to the field.
